Citizens Options Unlimited – Unpaid Overtime

Kessler Matura P.C. and co-counsel have filed a class and collective action lawsuit on behalf of current and former House Manager who worked for Citizens Options Unlimited, a non-profit organization that operates various facilities for people with disabilities throughout New York. The complaint alleges that House Mangers worked 6-7 days per week and were on call 24/7, however, Citizens Options Unlimited failed to provide overtime pay. As a result, we allege that House Managers are owed considerable unpaid overtime. This lawsuit seeks to recover back wages and related damages to all individuals employed in New York since March 2024, who worked for Citizens Options Unlimited as House Managers.
