Troy L. Kessler is a partner at Shulman Kessler LLP.  He has more than ten years of litigation experience representing individuals who have been the victims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, overtime and minimum wage violations, as well as personal injuries due to car and construction accidents.

Mr. Kessler is licensed to practice law in the State of New York.  He is also admitted in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.  He received his law degree from Loyola University School of Law Chicago.  Mr. Kessler received his bachelor's degree in Political Science and History from the University of Wisconsin. 

Mr. Kessler is active in the New York State Bar Association, where he is an executive board member of the Labor & Employment Committee.  Additionally, Mr. Kessler is an active member of the National Employment Lawyers Association and the National Employment Lawyers Association New York Chapter.  He has been a contributing author to the New York State Bar Association Labor & Employment Section Newsletter.  His most recent publication concerned legislative updates to the New York Law Labor Law, which included an analysis of important amendments affecting commissioned salespersons, as well as a description of the transformation in enforcement at the New York State Division of Human Rights.

Mr. Kessler is a member of the business advisory board to the Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center of Nassau County, which is an organization dedicated to educating people about the Holocaust, as well as promoting tolerance in our communities.  His skills as a tireless advocate for individuals who have been the victims of discrimination, provides a unique perspective in furthering the goal of tolerance in our communities.

Further, Mr. Kessler is a mentor with the Nassau County Bar Association.  As a mentor, he is assigned to work with children at a local middle school, where he and other attorneys volunteer their time to provide children in need with positive adult role models.

Outside the office, Mr. Kessler is the coach of two soccer teams.  Additionally, he is an avid runner who participates in races on an annual basis.
